Hi!
I am a long time Krita user and after the last big update I noticed a problem with the outline selection tool. I love the new icons for different selection modes (add, subtract, intersect, etc) and I think that the “move selection” option (which pops up when hovering over the outline) is a cool addition but I wish there was a way to disable it. I don’t use it at all and it gets in the way when I select in “add” mode. I’ve attached an example of selecting a tree branch shape. I marked the spot where I would start selecting another twig on the branch but with “move selection” icon popping up on the outlines I can’t do that. I would have to select it starting from the end (which is not very intuitive). Something as simple as an option to disable “move” would be great. ![]() Do you think there is any chance this issue will be fixed? |

The move icon gets disabled when you press and hold down modifier keys to add subtract and replace, that is the shift alt and ctrl keys respectively. So as a workaround may be you can use modifier to add subtract and replace selections.
