Hi!
I am a long time Krita user and after the last big update I noticed a problem with the outline selection tool. I love the new icons for different selection modes (add, subtract, intersect, etc) and I think that the “move selection” option (which pops up when hovering over the outline) is a cool addition but I wish there was a way to disable it. I don’t use it at all and it gets in the way when I select in “add” mode. I’ve attached an example of selecting a tree branch shape. I marked the spot where I would start selecting another twig on the branch but with “move selection” icon popping up on the outlines I can’t do that. I would have to select it starting from the end (which is not very intuitive). Something as simple as an option to disable “move” would be great. Do you think there is any chance this issue will be fixed? |

The move icon gets disabled when you press and hold down modifier keys to add subtract and replace, that is the shift alt and ctrl keys respectively. So as a workaround may be you can use modifier to add subtract and replace selections.
