When drawing (with the Brush tool for example), if the E key is pressed to switch to eraser mode the button on the top toolbar changes but the pen keeps drawing until released, the same happens with the mouse.
The same happens when erasing and switching off of eraser mode. Tested on Krita 4.2.5, Ubuntu 18.04 I wonder if it would be technically possible to switch the tool inmediately, so it results in a faster drawing experience. Thanks!! Pablo |

If I understand you correctly, you want to switch mode in the middle of a stroke? If that's it, then, no, that's not possible.

Hi, thanks for replying so quickly!!
Yes, basically that is what I meant, but I imagined it might be technically difficult. Sometimes while quickly drawing with low pen pressure, I press the E without releasing the pen pressure completely, and since I keep drawing, I press the E again and then I never leave drawing mode and makes me crazy The thing is the screen shows the erase button turned on while your're still drawing and that's what's confusing because the mode hasn't "yet been changed" Anyway, thanks a lot!! |
