It's already possible to 'transform' vector shapes with Select Shapes Tool anyway.
And using Transform Tool on the vector layer seems very buggy... |

Transform tool offers a lot of cool features for SVG/vector layers.
One of the less known is the possibility to resize/shear/rotate text-elements, something you can't do with the vector handles. One of the most powerful is the ability to resize/shear/rotate multiple SVG/vector layers at once (when they are grouped, using transform tool recursively on the group). If you find bugs, please report them. |

Except the 'shear' all of those you mentioned is possible with the Select Shapes Tool. I think it might be good to add shear into the transform function with Select Shapes Tool and just disable Transform tool on vector layers. It's confusing. No it was not. My bad. ![]() 1 Shearing 2 Transforming multiple vector layers at once |

I have found plenty of bugs with the transform tool and vector layers. Even selecting the tool can make the vector layer vanish. Using perspective, warp, cage, or liquify also does not work. Things get even buggier when text is involved. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411895 EDIT: I just got Krita to crash by selecting the tools in a certain order, looks like another bug report is in order... |
