As a game developer , I use krita draw game sprites, I found if krita add a timeline name tag will give a huge progress in game animation work flow
Profit: 1. You can switch different animation(such as idle/attack/jump/... or different stage in cartoon) quickly by select different tag, not type the start and end frame as before. I put different animation in one layer so I just need a few layers not manage a bunch of layers.. 2. You can export different animation as the tag name very quickly, don't need export them and name them manually as before. just like that: tag1-idle(frame 0 - frame 6), tag 2 - jump (frame 7 - frame 11) export auto----(idle00, idle01...idle06, ju,p07. jump08, .... jump11) 3. Easily get a loop onion skin by tag, don't need duplicate the first frame and add it at end to create a loop animation(such as an idle animation) The timeline tag looks like this https://imgur.com/YTkpVwL |
