Hi,
After the last update of Krita I have problem with exporticg jpg & png, it drops quality. It may either have a bad colour transition or reduce luminocity. Do you know what I can do?

Which application is this about?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

You'll have to show us the images, both the original source (.kra) file and the exported files. Please also tell us what settings you are using when exporting.

Well, that won't work, those are the paths on your local disk. Make a zip file with those files inside and put on place like dropbox or google drive, and put the link here.

I also asked for the original .kra file -- don't tell me you are saving your work always as .png?

Your problem is that you are working in 16 bits/channel integer with a linear gamma TRC. You didn't include the actual converted PNG image, but the windows photo viewer doesn't support color management, so it will show the image as if it were 8 bit sRGB, misrepresenting all the data.
Convert your image to 8 bits sRGB and do not embed any profiles when saving the image. Please read up on color management: https://docs.krita.org/en/general_conce ... kflow.html and https://docs.krita.org/en/general_conce ... gamma.html |
