I read about an attempt to a panorama plugin for Krita 2 years ago.
Now I can't find anything like this (I am missing something?).

It would be great (and probably not so difficult) to implement a krita-based frontend for PanoramaTools (which is the well-known hugin engine).

Any plan for this?

So, are you talking about the feature at Layer -> New -> New Panorama Layer?

Yes, but since it's nowwhere to be ready, it has been removed for final release.
