Looking at all the great work in the "gallery" subforum, I think it is time to tell all those gimpers in kde-look that krita is here
Also, it will be a good "marketing" practice to attract more users. What do you think? PD: I can hear you saying "start yourself", but right now my only pointer device is a touchpad...

I think you should shell out for a $5 mouse!
Seriously though, I think it's a great idea. Might be nice too, to have something that isn't so much a full wall paper as a watermark / identity image that people can put in the corner of their image over the top. I'm thinking of something kind of like how most of the North American TV stations put their logo's in the corner of the TV show. Obviously, this would be *voluntary*, but if people used it when posting in the gallery, it would mean that places like Google images and blogs "borrowing" the images for blogposts would bring more attention back to Krita. |

I don't know about other people, but for me personally, having extra text on the image greatly reduces the value of the image unless it's the centerpiece of the image. I would rather see people posting content with "Made with Krita (koffice.org/krita)" as is oftentimes done with the Gimp.

Even if it wasn't used over an image there's still things like at the end of YouTube video's etc (ie in the credits)
