Version 2.1 of Krita has come out with Koffice 2.1. There's a bunch of goodies in the new release including enhanced stability, spray, deform and 3d visualisation brushes along with an infinite canvas and the new Dyna tool.

Guys 'n gals -- we are really eager for reports about the 2.1 release. Our focus was on stability, but Heise reports that Krita is still "recht absturzfreudig", so they got a crash. If you run trunk, expect crashes -- many of them will already be known. We enabled some big experimental performance-related features that make krita crash with great celerity. But _if_ you run 2.1 and get a crash, please install the debug packages and tell me about it. I'm not picky: the forum, irc, the mailing list, direct mail, bugzilla, I read all reports!
