That's what I thought too. Another way (if we want to keep design D) is to change the white gradient (outer glow) with a stroke (in photoshop term). I am not sure how it will be..

Could you do that so I can show it to the textile-printing man?

Is this the kind of thing you mean Shicmap? I'm guessing that what the printer had a problem with was the gradient using transparency fading out, so I removed it from the "shiny" reflection, too: |

I'm not shicmap, but I say splendid! I think I can take this one to the printer. Could you please send me an .eps file of it? (either here or irina@valdyas.org)

Thanks Irina!
I wasn't sure if the printer would prefer the file to have the black object in the background or not, so I've uploaded two versions, one with and one without. The noblack version just leaves black areas as transparent. If you look at it on any background that *isn't* black it will look odd, but I'm guessing this is the version they would prefer. I haven't much time recently, but here the mockup comes. Don't know, if it's to late.. http://imagebin.ca/view/OIrB_z.html The flowers shouldn't be cut off, the text is very low res and has other colours, but with the original files and fonts it shouldn't be to hard to do this - i think. yes i like the logo of krita.org very much more, than the official one. Hey aMan
Yay! Another submission! I half put mine in just to encourage someone else to do better. lol. Looks nice overall, and I think it would score more highly on the "Looks more like Krita than Karbon" scale. Making the text on the "hackfest" line longer somehow to fill some of the negative space on the right would help (eg "2010 Hackfest" or something else). I do wonder how we'd handle the top/left edges of the florets. A website / image has a natural cutoff point, where a T-shirt keeps going, so it might look a little odd to have a sharp cutoff edge. The original image having been designed just for the website doesn't extend further, and is also only has the resolution you see at krita.org. We could recreate it, if anyone has the time to in the timeframe. Anyway, thankyou for taking the time to create this mockup. I'm not sure how we're going for time, but maybe some other Krita people have some suggestions. Personally I'm happy with whatever makes the team happy. |

Yes, that's what I mean. I've been pretty busy lately, sorry for not replying asap. |

I did indeed answer it, twice over! I think the forum isn't accepting my messages for some reason.

This looks really great. I fear that it might not work for the T-shirt printing shop as the have troubles to print on black as pointed out earlier.
