Great job! (Especially on the second one) :)

No idea about the printing constraints, unfortunately... Would be good to get cleared up exactly what they are.

version 2b: http://img30.yfrog.com/i/kritalogo2b.jpg/

yeah, there could be problems with the dyna lines and the mud on the lettering.

What if you put the geometry on the left side of the text? I am afraid that they won't be able to print the gradient. I love it though. (can we get 2 t-shirts: one by kubuntiac and one by adam? ;P)

@shicmap
version 1b: http://yfrog.com/2mkrita1bj

and there are also these two
1a: http://yfrog.com/06kritalogoj
2a: http://yfrog.com/0skritalogo2jj

i've tried to simplify it, but wasn't really successful:

any other ideas?

I like 1a. 1b is good if we cannot print the red lines. My suggestion for 1b is to put them closer together. This is cool, I hope they can print them.

Not being a t-shirt wearing type of person, I find it hard to choose. I like Kubuntiac's design for its boldness, and Adam's design for its messiness, and because it's vertical -- but even there I wonder whether I don't like like the simple one better.

I guess I should have kept trac of the forum, because I would have arrived at the idea of having a poll, but I guess that's too late now. So, everyone please speak up, or I'll let Irina choose!

My vote goes to the simplified one! I admit that the more intricate one is prettier, but printed on textile it would look as if it's already wearing off.

As for me, i like http://img28.yfrog.com/i/kritalogo2j.jpg and http://img534.yfrog.com/i/krita2simple.jpg/ both. I think it worth it to ask the printing laboratory which one will be printed better =). And if they don't tell anything, print simplified one.

hm, i don't really like the simplified one, maybe because i like "wearing off" effects.

anyway, here is the simplified with a lighter 0 in 2010

and a transparent 2b

To me, the simplified one loses most of what made the earlier designs interesting. It's a bit like with my design... I liked it much better before we made it "printable". Obviously we work withing the technical limitations, but I still don't get exactly what those limiations are . Is is resolution? Is it color range? Is there a specific palette? I think if we got this cleared up, everyone could create better printable designs.

I like this one http://xibo.at/moje/duud2transparent.png the most.

The transparent one ( http://xibo.at/moje/duud_simpletransparent.png )
has some bugs :) I and T has some lines on them which should not be there
