Flatten image without losing layers

Wed Apr 18, 2012 10:09 pm
Is there a way to make a composite of all layers without collapsing them. This is quite a nice feature specially when it comes to complex layer structure when one may just want to make a snapshot of the work to make some general retouches without bothering too much upon which layer's which.

Hi Canaldin,

Here I personnaly have my shortcut keyboard 'combo' for this ;
Crtl+A then Ctrl+Maj+C then Ctrl+V
but I don't know if I use default keystroke for this. What it does :
- Select All
- Copy Visible ( all layer )
- Paste

In Photoshop it is even more complicated, it's Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E, kind of a magician's kombo, very poorly documented and unintuitive :)

Thank you it does make sense, as it is not something one would use every second
