Art. Color Selector

Sat Jul 07, 2012 3:24 pm
I like this color selector.
But I have a question. Is it normal behavior, that the Art. Color Selector won't update it's color when the current color changes?
As I think, it may be true, because of the nature of this selector. Am I right, or is it a bug?

Theoretically, it can exactly updates if "current color" is possible in current state of the selector, but needed recursion comparison (may be slow if there are many color cells).
The other way I can see is update not exactly to current color, but to closest possible (without rotation of rings and changing number of cells). So, if (current color == one of the possible in selector), it "automatically" updates exactly; if (... != ...) , it updates to closest.
