Yes I will its just that that is a huge project for me so just hang in there... It'll be done when I can figure out how to report it.
Ah I see there is no way to report a bug at all ... well that settles that then both weirdly convenient and oddly pointless. ![]()

Well, I was thinking if you're logged in there you should be able to report a bug. If that's not possible, that's bad... I guess you should try some Kubuntu mailinglist or forum then. But I can't really give you details there, sorry! |

Yeah I was logged in but I couldn't find the "report bug" button... nor any reported bugs. But I did mail them , I don't know if that will do any good but its a wild attempt at it. Plus like its being said in the forums "we knew it was unstable when we added it" so... we'll just have to wait and see
And this give me a chance to look at Opensuse again (for the fifth time I think. Every time its been borked at installation or does something entirely inappropriate to the point where I started drawing mockups for an alternative installer with one huge red glossy button with "Me install, crush all on harddrive!" that would just erase everything else, use the standard bootloader and turn your name and password into "Ogg"... ![]() I've installed everything on these two poor computers but Arch and Opensuse never stick there for me sadly.

Well, apparently you were successful, since a new version of the kde-workspace package is building atm: https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+arc ... e=building So I guess an update should be available soon for you... ![]() Well, there was another change. Nothing to do with this bug, sorry! ![]() |

Unfortunately the author of this patch did not email the packagers list, which would have ensured significantly faster adoption of this patch. A pity the PPA repository does not offer the ability to report bugs against it.

Sorry about that... ![]() But now they _really_ have included that fix, at least for 13.04: (I don't know which one you are using for Mint, but I guess the other versions should follow soon then) https://launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa/+arc ... ce.changes
This "kubuntu_app_icon.diff" mentioned there is exactly that commit that fixes this issue... ![]() |

I KNOW, it was awesome! He (Jonathan Riddell from the group) replied to me early this morning and told me but I didn't have time to check it out!
Aaaand he said I did good reporting it as I did! Score one for team Jens! (I may have replied with "I could kiss you, you complete stranger!" and I stand for that) ![]()

Now you know how opensource software works... ![]() So this is solved for you then? Great! ![]() And many other Kubuntu/Mint users may appreciate your report as well, although they don't know you and don't know it was you who reported this bug. ![]() |
