Hello all
Is there any way to link opacity with pressure for the duplicate brush (now it has only size parameter)? Thanks in advance. |

Hum... There is an opacity option for the duplicate brush, but it seems completely broken. Using the opacity slider also doesn't work. This looks like a bug... Could you create bug in bugs.kde.org? There's one thing I'm wondering about, when duplicating with opacity < 100%, should the result be mixed with the original pixels in the layer, or should it replace the original pixels at the new opacity?

I have no such option (screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/cn0xm.png?1). Krita 2.5.2. So for me it's looked not as bug, but as a missing feature.
The first idea (to mix input with original pixels) is the right one, imho. At last this is how it works in gimp or photoshop, and seems more intuitive and expectable than your last proposal. |

Yes, looks like we added that option in master:
commit 3cf94e3dfddb58c6e52dc4540e44d3684a9e8e84 Author: Lukáš Tvrdý <lukast.dev@gmail.com> Date: Sat Jul 7 17:34:08 2012 +0200 Enable composite and opacity options for duplicate brush Composite mode COPY is needed for duplication of the transparent areas BUG:288193 BUG:302304 Though we didn't test whether it worked . Thanks for your answer to my question, we'll fix it that way. |
