First off, thanks a lot indeed for your effort

Just two notes:
1) In my view, this list is a bit difficult to read because the space between the tools and their shortcuts is way too big : yeah, I have read it is a work in progress (so bear with me)
For instance, in the section "Painting" there are dozens of options and their corresponding shortcuts are printed very far from them so that, at first glance, in my view, it is a bit difficult to associate easily every shortcut with its tool.

The shortcut list prepared by Boudeweijn (in this same forum under "Tutorials that can be done in Krita, page 6) IMHO was easier to read because everything has been aligned to the left (every shorctut lays beside its action).
E.g.:
ctrl-h: display selection
ctrl-e: merge with layer below
ctrl-i: invert

2) Maybe, to make everythig simpler you could add a grid (such as the one you use with spreadsheets).
By adding a grid you might avoid to align every shortcut to the left side (because every line would be surrounded by its own grid).

I didn't try to apply this second suggestion myself because of the xcf file format you provided
For example, to load this file into LibreOffice Calc to add a grid is a bit pointless rigth now. You should be forced to scan it by way of an OCR software.
BTW, I have even tried to import your PDF into LibreOffice Draw but I have soon realized that it looked very hard to modify it (by its property, it looks like you created it with the Cairo library).

To sum up, if I may add a joke, I am sure it would take countless hours of discussion about the "right" order to write this list.
In short, whether to list *first* the name of the action and afterwards its corresponding shortcut OR the other way around (as you did with your list)
All in all, I think "your" choice it the better off and the widely spread (although, I suppose it is also a matter of personal taste....).

You are right, the order may not appeal to everyone, but I apologize for my inexperience, as I should have used a better, specific tool to do this, instead of Gimp.
I take your suggestions as mine. I wanted to do a sheet that you can fold in half but it probably would be better to have it in 3 columns (like the Qt reference card I was inspired by).

Judging by your picture (in this same forum, beside your posts) you look very young: therefore, you have all time ahead of you to improve yourself

I'm editing the sheet in LibreOffice Draw, and I had an idea of instead of putting a grid, alternate the color of the line background. Also aligning the text to the left gives much better readability and I think I can keep the sheet two-folded.

About this choice I have mixed feelings (about the pros and cons).
On the whole, the final good result, in my view, all depends upon the colours you choose for this (and their choice is not that simple IMHO).
Perhaps, having a black grid would be probably a bit "disturbing" as well (with too much "noise" in the background...).

OFF TOPIC:
I always remember when I was graduating (alas, many years ago now...).
My professor always suggested to pick, for colours, for my charts, all shades of black and white (with No different colour at all).
The reason was that often you do not have a printer with different colour other than black and white.
Working only in black and white shades maked it easier for me to sort out every visual problem related with printing my charts.
In addition, in the past, printing with colours was highly pricey as well.

I am pretty sure this is the key.
Quite often, aligning the text to the left, gives a much more readable text in the end.

Just out of curiosity (since I am aware you are experimenting, which is always good), why do you use LibreOffice Draw for this document?

As for me, I would opt instead for Scribus for this task [1]
Scribus allows you to save your final document as Pdf.
Not to mention it is open source and multi-platform.
For example, you can modify all images already imported in Scribus through Gimp.
YouTube sports hundreds of tutorials for getting to grips with Scribus [2].
In my View, for this specific type of documents (that is, a limited amount of pages to produce) Scribus really shines.
For longer documents (e.g. a whole Krita manual), I would go for LaTeX by way of Lyx [3] to simplify this task

I don't have a particular reason for Draw. I have no experience with this kind of software, so it was just blind choice.
But looking now it seems like you're right, Scribus appears much more suitable. I'll give it a try.

Another alternative for alternating line color background (and printing worries me a lot indeed) would have the command column aligned to the right and the description aligned to the left, so they would be closer. But this gives a bit of legibility problem with the right-aligned column, so I think both left-aligned is the best solution.
