Krita 2.7 pre alpha crash on launch

Fri Mar 29, 2013 2:33 pm
Hi, i recently compile the pre alpha build with provided scripts from david revoy, thanks to him for theses very helpful scripts !

so i launch for the first time under my freshly installed kde Nadia, i decided to migrate from ubuntu that i'm annoyed now.

After going into the krita settings, i made a mistake, i wanna test the OpenGl options, then restart krita, but now it crash every time when i try to create a new doc. I googled before going into this forum, and i found theses related topics:

viewtopic.php?f=139&t=83723

viewtopic.php?f=139&t=108041

wich they were unfortunately not totally helpful, so i started to search into my folders, found two kritarc files then do a search,
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8zoN21 ... sp=sharing
but i didn't found any opengl related options inside both files. After i try to simply move theses files, into another place and restart krita, but unfortunately that wasn't heplful again.

I give here a link to the log file with more informations https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8zoN21 ... sp=sharing

Thanks in advance.

PS: sorry about my english, i hope i was clear, my mother-tongue is the french.

You need to remove .kde/share/config/kritarc -- though actually, krita should notice it crashed and disable opengl itself these days.
