Is there a way to apply a gradient using a blending mode (for example Multiply), so you can combine multiple gradients?
the tutorial alludes to this possibility ('Applying a gradient using Erase mode'), but I haven't been able to find a way to apply a gradient using a blending mode directly, only through the cumbersome method of creating a temporary layer, setting its blend mode, drawing the gradient, then merging the layer (.. wash, rinse, repeat.). Setting the brush blending mode has no effect. |

Hm, I just tested with normal and erase, and that seems to work.

That probably means I thought I was choosing the blending mode when I actually just clicked on it. I realize now that I have to doubleclick to set the mode.
Thanks for the feedback! |
