After a long time of ignoring a "simple" smudge brush, I decided to try to use it again, for some smearing and blur purposes. But, in Krita 2.6.x, I can't find it:

Is it removed completely, or just not working in this version?

the old smudge-only engine has been removed has the color-smudge engine can do smudge-only presets too, even better than the old smudge engine (which was buggy on some edges..)

On default presets, look for the " Basic_smudge_* " presets that are smudge only.

And I must explain, what I was searching for: In the Smudge Brush there was a "Smudge Mode: Smearing & Dulling"... But now I found same settings in the Color Smudge Brush. So... I just was inattentive (as usual).
