I pulled it up via shortcut but it doesn't seem to do anything.
I'm trying to find a quick way to rename my layers upon generating them. I already found the shortcut to quick-create layers, though of course by default they aren't named very informatively. So far the closest thing I've found is an additional 'F2' shortcut, but that requires that I select the layer window, and that requires moving the mouse and clicking. (There seem to be no shortcut to switch active windows.) "Compose layer" would have been a perfect solution (just requires pressing shift, entering text, and hitting enter), but alas it doesn't seem to work. Is it just a bug on my end? (I'm using Version 2.5.3) Thanks in advance. |

Nevermind, seems like the code was written back in 2007 and is simply unfinished. Adding bug report.

I completely forgot that we once started on that plugin... I'm all for a new way to easily create layers, but this was meant to take separate channels from a bunch of layers and combine them in a new layer, for instance, red from Layer 1, green from Layer2 and alpha from layer ...
