Just joined, and hope I posted this under the right forum section. If not let me know.

So far I am really enjoying the workspace and settings Krita has to offer. It reminds me a lot of a hybridization between photoshop and Painter. However, very often does Krita tend to hang up upon starting up (not the computer, but the software). Or takes long periods of time starting up. Could this have to do with my hardware, or is it not fully compatible with Windows7?

Suggestions is appreciated.

Which version are you using? Older versions had a problem on startup that had to do with the code identifying the drives on the system. The latest installers do not have that problem anymore.
