Krita Hangs Up, help

Sun Aug 18, 2013 9:02 pm
Just joined, and hope I posted this under the right forum section. If not let me know.

So far I am really enjoying the workspace and settings Krita has to offer. It reminds me a lot of a hybridization between photoshop and Painter. However, very often does Krita tend to hang up upon starting up (not the computer, but the software). Or takes long periods of time starting up. Could this have to do with my hardware, or is it not fully compatible with Windows7?
The version I am using is Krita 2.6.8.8
Windows 7 x32

Suggestions is appreciated.

Hi -- that's a bug in that version of Krita. Or rather, in the underlying code that looks for removable devices. It's fixed in 2.7.8.7 which you can download from http://www.kogmbh.com/download.html
