How do I set it in krita where I can use my wacom stylus pen button (middle mouse btn) for the color picker (ctrl) without it crashing using the canvas input shortcuts? Every time I leave a shortcut blank, it crashes Krita, and when i set the pallet popup shortcut to mmb and ctrl nothing is changed.

I'm dual booting into Ubuntu 13.04. Windows version doesn't have this problem cause i can use the wacom control panel to set my pen up using the modifier (alt, shift, ctrl) options, but Krita works better on Linux - for the moment.

If it crashes, it's a bug ;-). It really should work. But I actually think I already fixed that crash in the master branch. Which version of Krita are you using exactly?

Ah... Several of these gih files have a file size of 0 -- that's the reason Krita crashes immediately.

Hi boudewijn :) It still crashes whenever I leave any canvas input shortcut blank. For example; changing the pan toggle from middle mouse button to none crashes krita as soon as I close the configuration menu. The reason I wanted to leave it blank was so I could set it to toggle the color picker which I want to be on my mmb wacom stylus button. I have krita lime (2.8 pre alpha) installed and I'm on Ubuntu 13.04. You said you sent the fix to the master git, but when I updated I didn't see any changed version of Krita.
