If I remember correctly someone said that multiple layer selection is hard to implement in krita. But multiple layers can be moved at once when they are grouped in one group. So maybe devs could create workaround for multiple layer moving, by creating temporary group when user shift selects multiple layers. So those layers would be treated as group, but this temp group would be invisible for user.
I'm writing this because it is hard to believe, that multiple layer selection and movement is hard to implement. But I'm sure Krita has some reasons for that. Hopefully temporary group idea is not bad...
