I wrote this earlier:

"Couple of days ago bought Cintiq 24 HD touch just to understand that Photoshop doesn't support multi-touch with Windows 8. After long search for help I just found that people are having big problems with Photoshop support and other touch related issues.

Will Krita be supporting normal Windows multi-touch features in Windows 8, like pan, zoom, rotate canvas made with two finger movements, pinch etc?"

After I enabled OpenGL I can now pan with two fingers and zoom with pinching. I works amazingly well!! Thank you thank you! Where is the Donate button? ;). Only think I still miss the ability to turn canvas with two finger slightly separated from each other.

Adding rotate to two-finger pinch and zoom should be doable... The touch screen integration was developed by KO GmbH's Arjen Hiemstra for Krita Sketch/Krita Gemini, and it's awesome to hear that it works with cintiq multitouch as well.

The donate button is right on the top-right-hand site of krita.org. Check http://krita.org/support-krita for more information. I'd particularly recommend the development fund, which keeps Dmitry working full-time on Krita :-)
