Blending modes not working

Tue Dec 24, 2013 2:45 pm
I am trying to use HSY-color but it's not working. Then I notice that all the blending modes under 'HSI, HSL, HSV, HSL' are not working and there is a warning icon after each.
my system is ubuntu 12.04 and version of krita is 2.9
any ideas?

Merry Christmas~~

This is probably because those blending modes are not yet supported in the colorspace you are using.
Are you using CMYK or LAB instead of RGB or something like this?

Thank you Animtim

I did use CMYK but I didn't intend to use it.
I tried opening a new canvas with RGB setting and those blending modes are working now. ^-^

For my sketch with CMYK color space, is there any easy way to convert it to RGB?

ok, I found the convert option in Krita.
Now it's working perfectly.
