Hello, I'm very insterested into building krita, to test to code a few ideas I have, and to (as least trying to) fix bugs I may run into, but I'm currently failing at building it correctly. I'm running Fedora 20 with kernel 3.12.6-300.fc20.x86_64. I selected tag v2.7.90 in the git tree and the creative product set with CMAKE. The actual building step works fine, but launching the program is buggy. I'm under gnome but I have no issue launching krita from the fedora repos.
It firstly pops up a dialog telling “The calligra LittleCMS color management plugin is not installed. Krita will now quit.” What I don't understand is that I installed all x86_64 packages for krita :
Secondly, it sometimes plain crash after this step but maybe this is because krita is not exiting cleanly with the former dialog.
or
Has someone built krita with fedora/redhat/centos now ? Even though you aren't, could you help me ? Many thanks in advance ! |

I built krita following this guide: http://www.davidrevoy.com/article193/bu ... x-for-cats
It says to check with your distribution package-manager that no Calligra and Krita packages are installed, so if you have Krita from Fedora repos it may be an issue. Dependencies used for building Krita in Fedora: http://community.kde.org/Calligra/Building#Fedora |

Thank you very much for the reply and the link to deevad's tutorial. I already knew git and cmake but I miss the $kbuildsycoca4 command. That's too stupid…
Thank you very much ! |
