I have not yet found the Krita guide lines. For example in Painter I click and drag from the vertical or horisontal rulers to set the guide lines. Are there any guide lines to be set in Krita? I wonder..?

guides from the rulers are still broken I am afraid. There's code for that, but we had to disable that for now.
There are painting guides, though, which are a bit different. They allow you to setup lines, rectangles, ellipses and perspective grids and make the pen follow those magnetically. |

Thank you for your quick answer, I can find my way around the lack of guides. But I am looking forward to it in a future upgrade! Have a nice day!

You can try the one in here, it's mildly outdated for 2.8 but works.

Thank you, but I was referring to guide lines for graphical layout, the ones you drag out from the rulers, the one you can make tools or object snap to. Uou know?

Well, I guess I misunderstood the question ^_^
You know... "Guides" and "Guidelines" I actually still don't understand the question; but that's probably because I've never used corel's painter ![]() Or well... when I was 8 I used the ancient paint shop pro I guess, dunno what my teacher was thinking trying to teach that stuff to elementary school children though, no one understood a thing. |

Any estimation when this can be worked on? It is a very useful feature and one I'm missing badly right now...

Sorry, no... We've got our hands full at the moment with the kickstarter. I know it would be really useful, but then, so are all the things we are already working on!
