I have been using Krita for about a month now and I've noticed few crashes along the way.
These crashes have happened when I've tried to draw something on a layer with mouse. There have been times when mouse painting has worked, but then there are moments when it just doesn't tolerate my mouse. I can evade this by drawing with a tablet, but sometimes I need to use mouse too, but there's the risk of crashing. Krita process just terminates itself into nowhere after a little while of drawing with a mouse. Sometimes I've been lucky and have had a "quicksave" of my workings, but usually I don't have it, so it annoys me to start again and again. ![]() |

Add more informations. Which operating system? Git version? (found in Help -> About Krita) Can you replicate the crash in a consistent manner? Does it happens only with a specific tool?
My guess is you are using Windows, try the new 2.7.9.10 build and report back with more infos if the crash happens again. |

I think 2.7.9.5 was the last build before I figured out why, especially the X86 build, would crash so often on Windows
