Hello, I have recently downloaded Krita(x64) for my Windows 7 computer, I have re-downloaded, forced crashed, and reset to defaults but nothing has worked. My problem is when ever i start up Krita and move my cursor over the canvas work space the brush "mouse/cursor" freezes and says where the mouse first entered the canvas. Futher details, I can draw and make marks on the canvas but they only appear when i move my mouse over the layer i am on and click on the current layer(already having selected the appropriate layer.) I can see no valid reason behind this bug/problem any help would be most appreciated, I would most certainly enjoy using this program, I just need help fixing this problem.
Thank you for your time. |

With "reset to defaults" do you mean you removed the user settings directories in
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\krita C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\krita ? |

There are no user settings, by reset to default I mean in Krita settings, configure Krita.

Ok, thank you. That was a very easy solution, I look forward to using this program.
Just asking, what caused this to happen in the first place, if you could tell me> |

Basically, these are all still beta builds We're refining the way the program works and there's a settings file that needs to be removed to builds to make the new code work. I've tried to version it, but that has given rise to other bugs.

I currently have the same problem. I tried deleting both folders, but it didn't work.
I also use Krita(64x) with Windows 10. |

No, you don't have the same problem. You have a different problem, with similar symptoms. The problem from 2014 is gone; what you're experiencing now is trouble with Intel's Windows graphics drivers, and you will need to disable opengl in Krita's settings dialog until we, together with Intel, figure out what's wrong with the Intel display drivers. |
