Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to export the Krita preferences and shortcuts? I can't seem to find where those files are located. I'd like to share the same file so I can access it on multiple computers.

Thanks so much,

Also, my Krita Profile under Canvas Input Settings won't save to a new custom profile. I made a new one, ex. DRP Krita Profile. After closing and re-opening Krita, the new profile is gone.

All the preference changes, specifically to Canvas Input Settings never save. When I close, and re-open Krita, my changes are gone...every time.

This happens on both my win7 and win8 machines.

Any help would be appreciated!

the settings are in

* c:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\krita\share\apps\krita (the edit/resources/open resources folder opens explorer here)
* c:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\krita\share\config\kritarc

In the current build saving canvas input settings is broken, that will be fixed in the next build which is very close.

When this releases, can Krita be directed to load/save preferences from any location; say, a dropbox so prefs could be be shared between multiple computers?

No, sorry, that won't work. It's something we're working on for the Steam edition, actually -- sharing settings and resources using the Steam cloud services.

If your using dropbox for your user preferences across multiple machines I've found the Dropbox folder sync addon works pretty well - I tend to use it for Krita and Blender. http://satyadeepk.in/dropbox-folder-sync/

How could I missed this dropbox addon! This could be a game changer, not only for my krita's workflow !

Thanks (and because it is yours first post... welcome :P)

In 5.0.2, I made a Canvas Input profile called 'Ahab Canvas Input Profile' and it was saved in the resources folder -/krita/input folder as ahabcanvasinputprofile.profile and I can select it and it saves changes.
It all seems to work.
