I set the "Cursor Shape" to "Brush Outline with Crosshair". As you can see, I tapped the middle of the black circle and then lifted the pen up and moved away from that area (indicated by the crosshair). The brush outline stays in the last place that my pen touched the tablet, this only happens with "Brush Outline" mode.

**Edit:** this only happens when OpenGl is enabled in Krita 2.8 Beta 3 under Linux Mint 16.
