Krita- Cursor Problems

Thu Apr 03, 2014 3:27 am
When I create a new document on Krita, the left sidebar doubles, like there are two windows, for a brief 2 seconds. On the document, the canvas works fine, however when I go to choose a color, the cursor goes to the color wheel but the brush stays on the canvas. If I try to adjust my color, Krita responds to it by doing whatever motion I am doing on the color wheel on the canvas. Wherever I am on the side toolbars, the brush remains on the canvas, even if my cursor isn't there. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and calibrating my tablet, my but I get the same result. I also tested my tablet on other drawing software, but they work fine, so I think it's something in Krita. Krita is my favorite drawing software so far, and I would like to get a solution soon. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks :)

That the brush outline stays visible in the canvas when you move the cursor away is known -- I don't think it's a big problem, but it might be confusing.

As for the other issues, which kind of tablet are you using and which os?

I have Windows 8.1 and use a Monoprice MP1060-HA60 Graphic Drawing Tablet. I have the same problem when using the mouse as well.
