After using the search function i wasn't lucky,

and then googling, i found that http://krita.org/item/5-showcase-brushes-for-krita-21 so apparently these brushes still exists from the 2.1 release

It might take a bit of effort, but you should be able to achieve what you want with the hairy brush engine.

With some tweaks on the sketch brushes you can get also a nice brush pen result but yeah i guess best would be to try with the hairy brushes more.
