Hi, I am a new user and I can't find a searched topic for this! on windows 8.1 in the latest Krita 2.7, is there some sort of brushes folder or resources folder that I can backup in case I want to restore the default presets? s there some way to turn on a confirm before deleting dialog for resources - it seems very easy to accidentally delete a brush with the red button ... Is there an option to restore the whole app to default settings and resources without reinstalling? Is there some place in the interface that I can look to see which brush (by name) I am using without leaving the canvas?

If you go to Edit->Resources->Open Resource Folder it will open a filemanager and then you delete the kis_brushes.blacklist file. That should restore all the brushes. Same goes for all the other types.
There is no confirm, but since version 2.8 the red button has been removed for exactly that reason. You can restore the default by deleting/renaming the kritarc file. I'm not sure where that is on windows, so you might have to search on your disk or in the forum. If you use the preset docker the last selected preset will be highlighted in the docker. |

Thanks , that worked , but I am already using Krita Version 2.8.3 (git c49997b) (x64) and the red button is still there... no problem now that I know about it I'll just put a little piece of tape on it so I don't hit it.
