I really want this mechanical pencil brush on Krita, I really want it to do some sketches, so is there any way for me to convert the Corel brush to a Krita brush?

Hm, no... You'd need to really carefully check what properties this brush uses, make a note of what is missing in Krita (like saving the color with the preset, I think), and then we could try to figure out what to add to replicate it.

Hey Elsevilla! Glad you're checking Krita out, haven't seen you since before conceptart.org forum went down the tubes. Can't convert painter brushes directly but that type of pencil brush is pretty common in krita presets. Check the following krita brush sets:

David Revoy's krita set - https://github.com/Deevad/deevad-krita- ... e/v4.0.zip

GrindGod's Modular set - http://www.deviantart.com/download/3991 ... 1403633779

Cazu's Krita set - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/137 ... -krita.zip

and I find the pencils in this brushset cool as well:

Aldys brush set - http://www.deviantart.com/download/1961 ... 1403633959

I personally have created a custom krita set with brushes I tweaked either from Aldy's set or Cazu's pencil set. As you already know the best tool is the one you create, but I am a hundred percent positive you can get a brush similar if not better than the painter version as I have used painter exclusively at one point too. The only thing I miss from painter is the automatic brush stroke tracker (pressure, speed, opacity, etc). Krita brushes need to be manually set for brush pressure, tilt, speed, etc configurations. There is a global pressure curve setting tho which works for me. I will post my set if you want, but it's pretty much tailored for my workflow.

That is definitely something I miss. I would love to be able to save some blueline/colored pencils with color pre-saved ;D

I'm not elsevilla (heh, I wish I could draw like that guy) but thanks for your links, I knew about deevad's and cazu's sets (used both) but not aldy's and grindgods, I'll have to look into that.

Please report it to bugs.kde.org as a wish -- it's not going to be terribly difficult since we have several color source options already.
