Krita compile error

Fri Jul 11, 2014 7:38 pm
Hi,
Kde bugs website seems to be down, so I am making a post here, I upgraded to latest git master today and got an error on startup about some koffice lib missing. So i reverted back to c675c675 and Krita works now.

I am using this script to start Krita

Code: Select all
export KDEDIRS=$HOME/software/kde4/inst:$KDEDIRS
export PATH=$HOME/software/kde4/inst/bin:$PATH
export KDEHOME=$HOME/software/kde4/.kde
kbuildsycoca4
/home/jayjay/software/kde4/inst/bin/krita

Hi,

Yes, there was a planned migration of bugs.kde.org to a new server. As for the error... Actually, with current git master, you don't need kbuildsycoca4 anymore at all! But you might be missing an updated dependency, eigen3 (instead of eigen2), and that might have caused your build to fail. It's hard to say without the exact error.

I should have been more specific.
I am getting this on running the startup script after commenting out kbuildsycoca4

And this shows up in the terminal

Code: Select all
###################################
# Adding a tablet device: Wacom Bamboo1 4x6 stylus
Device Type: "Stylus"
# Axes limits data
X:        0 14760
Y:        0 9225
Z:        0 0
Pressure: 0 2048
Rotation: -900 899
T. Pres:  0 0
###################################
# Adding a tablet device: Wacom Bamboo1 4x6 eraser
Device Type: "XFreeEraser"
# Axes limits data
X:        0 14760
Y:        0 9225
Z:        0 0
Pressure: 0 2048
Rotation: 0 1
T. Pres:  0 0
krita(11949)/koffice (lib komain) KoDocumentEntry::queryByMimeType: Got no results with  "application/x-krita"
krita(11949)/koffice (lib komain): Unknown Calligra MimeType  "application/x-krita" .

krita(11949)/koffice (lib komain): Check your installation (for instance, run 'kde4-config --path mime' and check the result).

Even upgrading libeigen gives the same result.

Can you please post the contents of this command?
Code: Select all
find $HOME/software/kde4/inst

Also, can you try re-enabling the kbuildsycoca4 command, but change it to read "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental" instead?

Ok!

Just for future reference: Krita from git master no longer uses the sysoco; running kbuildsycoca isn't relevant anymore.
