Panning in Krita 2.9+?

Thu Aug 07, 2014 2:42 pm
I've been searching the forums (and the internet) for ways to get a pan-like feature working but haven't been able to find anything concrete or its for linux. I added Krita to my workflow about a month ago and its great, the brush mechanics are phenomenal. I would love to make the switch from Cs5 to Krita however one of the features that I would want to see is a panning-like tool since it makes working feel much more natural especially when your zoomed in.

Are there any plans to implement a panning tool with Krita 2.9 or later?

Is it possible to pan with 2.8?

Sure you can pan -- press the middle mouse button to pan, or press space, then pan -- that's basically, the same gesture photoshop uses.
