Hi guys, I've just started playing with Krita on the mac and I gotta say WOW! What an awesome app!
With that being said, what's the best place I can go to submit bugs or to discuss issues with the UI? I'm noticing that tools and modes have the tendency to get "stuck". For example, I can be in a painting mode and not be able to press any other hotkeys like space for moving the view. I end up making many accidental paint strokes because the UI doesn't recognize that I pressed the space bar. Incidently, I tried this on the linux version as well (using Virtualbox) and the same issue was there as well, so maybe this is not specific to the mac version? Are there any tips to get around this? Or is this something that's known and on the list to be fixed? Or is this only happening to me? ![]() Thanks! |

i don't think it's a known issue. I don't have that problem here and there is no bug report about that.

I don't know if it's the same problem, I'll describe my experience using a cintiq companion and then we'll see if we are talking about the same thing...
Basically I can't do something on the dockers (layers or colour selector typically) and then clicking straight to the canvas trying to use a key+penstroke action like trying to change the size of the brush or colour picking or rotating the canvas. Kryta doesn't accept these kind of inputs and will simply do a brushstroke if you don't "activate" again the canvas: I usually do it by clicking on the tool/menu bar on top of the screen and I got accustomed to it. It looks as if the dockers and the canvas are two very separate entities, like two different softwares that communicate to each other but only partially. Obviously I'm on windows. ![]() |

Ah, yes, that problem. It was in linux as well:
Basically, whenever the stylus is lifted from the tablet far enough, Krita's won't recognise it on return to the tablet, so you need to activate the canvas, by hitting the scrollbars for example. It's fixed in current master ![]() |

That sounds like it might be my problem, and it's fixed in current master?? Awesome! Any chance of a new mac build showing up any time soon that I can test?
