Gradient Tool Hangs Krita

Thu Sep 25, 2014 1:20 am
Gradient tool in the most recent Dev build doesn't seem to work on Windows 7 64bit. The gradient tools has always given me a crash or two when I use it for whatever reason (See my youtube vids), but in this case it doesn't even work it just hangs Krita up. Not a super huge deal for me cause I can always use an airbrush for a similar effect, but just thought the Devs should know.

Hm... I have win7 64 bits as well, but I just tested the gradient tool and I had no problem. What colorspace/channel depth and image size are you using? Any special kind of gradient?

OpenGL enabled
Using Texture Buffer
Scaling Mode: High Quality Filtering

Unchecked Color Channels in Color
Checked Enable curve anti-aliasing
Checked Enable selection outline anti-aliasing

Default color model for new images: RGB (8-bit integer/channel)
Monitor Profile: sRGB built-in
Rendering intent: Perceptual

Using Blackpoint Compensation
Allowing Little CMS optimizations

Image size for gradient failure was:
Width 2048
Height 1536
Resolution 500 ppi

Gradient was the simple black to transparent preset and the black to white preset.
Gradient crashes on my Surface Pro 2 as well.
