i believe that, (but i could be wrong) krita is complex enough that with the write hands one could emulate the trixels (both kinds of angles) as wll as hexels, and hexel grid behavior using krita. hexels is a simple a way to draw with triangles, mainly on two diffrent angled grids so that one can make minecraft/cube like art, or at another angle, triangle pixel art, also hexels, can use textures which krita also can, and can do basic square pixel art or use diffrent shapes like er hexels. but mainly its known for its grid like way of working where one need not understand 3d or pixel art rules to create 3d art or pixel art because using the grid everyhting snaps into place. which is why its so popular because anybody artist or not can make great art without understanding perspective. so, i ask, is there a way to make krita work like hexels, and if so how, this should be added to the next version of krita because hexels has gotten insanely popular and if not, i would like to request krita to be able to do this. here some videos of trixels in action. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BJKytgk85g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hr3PH_fXMUc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw141zB8QN4 i hope thats clear ![]() |

It would be possible to have a brush of that shape and do something similar, I think. It would still use pixels as the underlying structure though.

i would like to please request help for making this brush. or could you make me a brush like this. im not sure if theirs a way to get it to snap to both trixel angles but that would be awesome if that was possible. but if not, triangle brush would work just as well. btw, i want it to function as a pixel as hexels does. i don't want it to smudge like a paint brush. and it would be great if it could be resized to taste. because even hexels doesnt allow that afaik. it really seems open source or not krita is the most powerful painting app in existence. and i believe enough in krita that this could be created. i myself do not have the skilll level or knowledge to do it though so i ask for help.
