Graphic Tablet Settings Problem

Mon Dec 22, 2014 1:00 am
I hope this is the right place to post this problem. I am using Linux Mint 17 KDE, and I have a Bamboo Pen & Touch. Since I use Krita a lot, I wanted to assign one of the tablet's express keys to the Space Bar (panning the canvas). I had no problem assigning it in the Wacom settings, but when I tried using it, it didn't work. Searching the internet, I discovered that the problem is the tablet deals with me pressing and holding that express key as a single click, which makes it impossible to pan the canvas in Krita, since it needs me to press and hold the space bar. To make sure that this is the issue, I opened LibreOffice Writer and pressed that express key, but no matter how long I press, it adds only one space, until I release it and press it again.

Although the problem is known, I haven't been able to find a solution. Can you help me??
