Hi maybe its a bug here, but once i've drawn a lasso selection (or any kind) I can't move it around the canvas?

The selection itself can't be moved yet no, what it is selecting can be.

To move a selection:
-A simple way can be to just create an empty layer, and use move or tranform tool on it to move your selection. -Another way, is to create a local selection mask and again use move or transform tool on it. -Then in next version it should be possible to see directly the global selection layer, so you can go directly on it to move/transform.. but this seems broken in current development version (the option is not in the menu anymore..), it should be fixed before the release. |

The simplest alternative is using vector select mode, and using the white arrow (shape handling tool) to move the selection, But its quite clunky and undesirable to use.
Infact, the "transform" tool works a lot faster than the move tool. I hope this is addressed sooner rather than later. You see that move selection and remove a selection by a single click outside the selection, are already in the TODO list linked below. However i'm not sure how valid this list is. It looks like it needs to be updated, as in, some things removed that have been completed. https://community.kde.org/Krita/Wishlist |
