![]() I'm working on this model with blender, i got this texture using the diffuse material mixed with ambient occlusion, and some filters in krita, but i would like to make it more realistic like a real skin, any suggestion on the workflow? |

Uhm, well, this isn't blender artist, but let's see what we can do.
1. How many maps do you have available? Spec, diffuse, bump? 2. Which renderer are you using? Bge, cycles, internal? Could you post a screenshot of said maps? |

Thank you for your reply, i have a normal map, but i can get a specular and diffuse too, and i'm using "internal rendering" But i would like to do a realistic skin only using the brushes in krita! Can i do it? i mean there is some workflow good for it? |

Realistic skin is a whole different beast in 3d than it is in 2d. I would investigate the subsurface scattering option if I were you. As for now, the guy's skin needs to be darker. Unless he's a vampire. He also needs more blush on his face. Try mimicking the colours on you own skin into the diffuse. It also helps to have a specular map that is largely black and has dark grey noise over it. Human skin is a little shiny, but not extremely so. Look for kevin tremmal's 'sculpting a realistic human face in blender', the painting section should help you out. Krita can do almost anything he suggests besides the lowpass/highpass filters, and I think gmic has those. |
