Some kind of color filter?

Sat Jan 10, 2015 9:20 pm
So my computer flipped out and kept scrolling down for some reason. So now the colors red and black are hidden somehow. I can see them on the layer thumbnail, and also if I try to draw red or black it doesn't show up at all. Did I somehow turn on a filter and how do I get rid of it?

You changed the look of selections.

There's a button in the lower-left corner of the status bar. Press it, it should go back to the 'marching ants'(this is official computer lingo)(I kid you not).

The other mode is because some people find marching-ants unpleasant to look at, and it doesn't always give a good indication of middle values in a selection(which are possible)

I tried clicking the button (the one with the dotted line around an 'i') and it was unclickable. I also tried to deselect, and that also did not do anything. :(

Oh, right you're still on 2.8.

Could you make a screen-shot of the program. I can likely see from there what's up.
