I cant find my scanner in any of the menus, how do I scan an image into Krita?
Also, when I import black and white art in the program, I can't find a way to balance the black and white leveling. Is there a tool similar to Photoshop's "Levels" tool where I can adjust a histogram and work on how dark my blacks are and how bright my whites are? I pencil and ink on paper and digitally color and I often post the pencil and/or ink pieces before coloring, so I need the line work to look crisp. I'm without Photoshop and I was hoping Krita can replace that... so far I cant use it or Manga Studio Debut 4. |

Krita has no scan i/o at the moment. You'll have to do that with you scanning software, and open them in Krita.
Levels is in filter->adjustment->levels ![]() |

Thank you!
I found the levels, I wouldn't have thought to find it under "filter". It took me a while to realize that I had to wait a few moments before I saw what the image looks like after the adjustments too. This has helped me a lot! Getting me closer to trying out the coloring on here. Thank you. |

Does AcquireImage, Kooka or Skanlite have the ability to scan multiple pages at a time into one image file? I noticed that they support ADF which would seem to imply that multi-page scans are possible but I haven't found a way to do so. If it is possible please provide instructions for doing so, thanks.

Hello...
I typically "set the high contrast focuses" utilizing a Levels modification layer. Pleasant things about alteration layers is you can return and correct or erase it.... |
