Ah! We use tags now.
That means there's a favourite presets tag, but you can also create your own tag, so you can make your own groupings. Switching the tag is via the little wrench icon on the pop-up palette in the lower-right. Also, you can change the size of the pop-up palette in settings->configure krita->general |

ok, but the floating palette still exists. do you mean that i can change the brushes that are there through tagging certain brushes?
speaking of tags, it seems that when i select (display) a number of brushes by filtering, it's not possible to save the filtered results under a tag (the save (disk) icon doesn't appear). so i'd have |

1. First you need to create a tag by clicking on the green "+" icon and by inserting a name. 2. After that you can enter your search terms in order to filter your desired brushes and 3. add them to your new tag, by clicking on "Save the currently filtered set as the new members of the current tag". |

that's what i mean: this save button is not there... it disappears when you filter...

It sounds to be a bug but I'm not able to reproduce it on Ubuntu. Could you say your Krita version and your OS?

Ok, thank you. From what I understand, it could be a bug...
I would recommend you to check if a bug report is already open (https://bugs.kde.org/query.cgi?format=advanced), and if not, to create one by providing your OS, Krita version maybe along with a screenshot of the brush panel while you're trying to filter the presets. Hope it helps! |
