compiling kritasketch from source

Mon Feb 02, 2015 12:56 pm
Hi,

I am trying to compile krita 2.8.7 following this tutorial http://www.davidrevoy.com/article193...#c1422760448-1 While krita is built successfully I cannot build kritagemini and kritasketch. Tried the cmake option -DPRODUCTSET=GEMINI it said unknown productset, compiled with the option -DPRODUCTSET=CREATIVE doesn't produce kritasketch either.

OS is Ubuntu 14.04 64 bits

Any idea? Thanks.

Sketch and Gemini are broken due to Multiple Documents at the moment. We'll get them back up and running as soon as possible, but for now only desktop works.

Hi, thanks for the answer.

But on Krita's website it says for Ubuntu/Linux Mint

"sudo apt-get install kritasketch (otherwise you won't have the sketch brush in 2.8.0)"

https://krita.org/download/krita-desktop/

The kubuntu backport ppa provides krita 2.8.5

Is that true for 2.8.7 that you need kritasketch for sketch brush?

That might be fixed by the ubuntu packages, I'm not sure about that.
