Painter's tools invocation.

Mon Feb 09, 2015 7:03 pm
I am new to Krita, (few months sketching on it), quite impressive software, I been trying to find out if the Painter's tools are possible to be invoked with a shortcut, specifically the "edit brush settings", I found myself using the dialog quite often (mostly to change the brush tips), "brushes presets" are accessible through many ways including a docker but for the "edit brush settings" I can't find any other way other than the button in the tool bar, I would like to know if this is possible and if not, is there any plans on doing it? having this also as a docker would be awesome.

Currently there is no shortcut for that. You can detach the dialog from the toolbar by right clicking on it and selecting "Detach from toolbar". There are no plans to make it a docker (simply too big).

Slangkamp, that's actually great! that workaround is good enough for my needs, I have a second small monitor where I usually place a docker or two, by detaching the dialog now I can have it on the side for a quick access, would never realize about right-clicking the dialog itself. Its true what you mention, the dialog would be quite big for a non-floating docker. Thanks a lot!.
