Hello,

I am a graphic designer who has recently tried Krita soley because of the wrap around tool. This tool is brilliant (Making seamless title sets for games)

That being said, I may or maynot use krita more often depending on if I am able to set certain setting in a similar fashion to photoshop. I have no intention of relearning keybinds. :)

1.) is there a way to set the color picker from Ctrl to Alt?
2.) Is there a way to have two windows open of the same document? What I mean by this is, In photoshop I have 2 windows open of the same document, 1 window zoomed out so I can see the entire image i am drawing, and one zoomed in which I am actively working in. Like shown below. This is critical for me.

I may have more things I am curious if I can do, but I cannot think of any at the moment.

Thanks in advance.

1. Check the canvas input settings under settings->configure Krita.
2. Possible in 2.9, for 2.8 you'll need to use the overview docker.

Is 2.9 the version coming out in 6 days?

The overview docker doesn't seem to display anything when I choose to display the docker. Specifically, in the case I am working on now, I'd like to be able to view another window with the wrap around tool active. So I can see the tile (making game tiles) I am working on at 100% in one window, with the pattern repeat, and have another window (which i am working in) be zoomed in (To 400-800%) also with the pattern repeat. Is this possible? Is there a location where I can download 2.9? I am using windows 7.

Never mind, I found the beta for 2.9. Is there a way to undock the view for the new window? Currently they are stuck together and I cannot drag it away.

Set to subwindow mode in configure krita. Then go to window, and set to tiled.
