krita 'spills' over workspaces

Thu Feb 26, 2015 5:39 am
so I have this issue where if krita is not in maximized mode, it takes up more room than my screen can hold and occupies a bit of the workspace below it. forcing it into maximized mode fixes this, but the moment I do anything it goes right back to before, and looks like this.

I'm running the latest ubuntu 14.04 unity, and a relatively small screen, which might have something to do with it. I've learned to work around this when I do in fact need to use the tools that have been cut off below the screen, but it still bugs me because things like the precise scaling, dimensions information, and several of the dockers' options require an extra few button presses to utilize, throwing me totally out of my pace.

also disclaimer, that's a photo, I'm just messing with it.
I didn't draw it, please don't sue me :'(

Try making the toolbox wider, I think that you're using it one icon wide, and that makes it too tall.

thanks, that seemed to do it, it still jumped when my computer freaked out and heated up a few minutes ago, but generally more stable now.
